This is Not the Color You Ordered (2026)
The artist Joel Schapira goes about his daily tasks with great attention to detail—peeling hard boiled eggs, meditating in a comfortable chair, and building a web-like collage in his bright and teeming studio. In time, we learn that Joel has Parkinson’s Disease. Though he is slowly losing control of his limbs, Joel has adapted his art making practice to be both precise and free.
