Eli Rudavsky is a filmmaker, editor, and writer based in Brooklyn, NY.
He began his career working as an editor with Terrence Malick on his forthcoming feature film The Way of the Wind. Since then he has worked with award-winning filmmakers Naeem Mohaiemen, Javier Téllez, and Erin Vassilopolous. He has also worked in post production for Neon, PBS, and Sony Pictures.
His films have screened at the Film-Maker’s Cooperative’s New Year/New Work Festival, Taos Film Festival, and Comfort Station in Chicago.
His writing has appeared in The Nation, Screen Slate, Art21, and elsewhere.
He received his BA with honors in English Literature from the University of Chicago, and is currently an MFA candidate in NYU Tisch’s graduate film program. He is the recipient of a TSOA scholarship from NYU.
