Eli Rudavsky is a filmmaker, editor, and writer from New York City.

His short films have screened at the 2026 Film-Maker’s Cooperative’s New Year/New Work Festival, the 2026 Taos Film Festival, Comfort Station in Chicago, and elsewhere.

He began his career working as an editor with Terrence Malick on his forthcoming feature film The Way of the Wind. Since then he has worked on Michael Almereyda’s forthcoming film Zero K, Erin Vassilopolous’s feature Destroy All Girls, which premieres at this year’s Locarno Film Festival, and with artist Javier Téllez. He has also worked in post production for Neon, PBS, and Sony Pictures.

His writing has appeared in The Nation, Screen Slate, Art21, and elsewhere.

Eli received his BA with honors in English Literature from the University of Chicago. He is currently an MFA candidate in NYU Tisch’s graduate film program, where he has been awarded the WTC Johnson Scholarship and the Tisch School of the Arts Graduate Scholarship.
